Trim, Cabinets, and a little bit of Elynn ( I couldn't resist)

This week has seen a lot of progress on the inside. The cabinets have been installed, the trim finished, the mud room finished out, and shelves put in the pantry and master closet. The painters that did the outside are doing the inside too. They have started caulking around the trim and baseboards, and they will start painting on Friday. The painting has been done by Francisco and his brother. His nephew (prob 10-12 yrs old) has been helping them too. Francisco told Cody today that his nephew and one of his friends have started their own business doing odd jobs whenever people need them. This kid is a hard worker and super sweet. Let me know if you need help with anything and I will connect you. Enjoy the pics!

Painters caulking the holes to prepare for starting the pain Monday. LOVE MY CABINETS!
We added trim in the corners to cover some of the rough parts

Cody testing out the bench

My new dinning table. We found this at Red Door Interiors in Shreveport, LA. My sister in-law, Natalie,  found my island there, I don't have pics of it yet. I highly suggest Red Door Interiors, they have recently expanded their building. I wanted everything in there!

The over spray from the sheet rockers. We had to use a scraper and wet sponges to wipe it off.
Mid-cleaning of the over spray

Master room top and bottom trim.

Cabinets on the right side of the kitchen!!

Mom and I were cooking the other night and found Elynn climbing in the dish washer. She is in to everything right now! I promise her belly isn't that big, she's not in the business to impress right now.

Columns! They will have a little more details at the top.

Seeing how high she can get lol
Right side of the cabinets. That is a shelf that will be under a counter top. The counter will match the chopping block kitchen counters.
Shelves in the pantry! I'm really excited about these! The fridge is going in here to. It will be on the back wall, centered on the door way. You can see at the top the one shelf that runs around the entire room.

I think I like this room as much as the pantry! Jim, the carpenter, finished this out for us this week. Cody built in the seat.

The wood was rotten on the sides and broken on the ends on the front porch. So, instead of replacing each board, Francisco replaced the broken parts with new boards. He also put a 1 X 8 across the front of the porch that turned out really nice.
